Letting Go of the Things We Carry | A Nonet Poem

Sometimes we need to pause and go with God’s flow, ya know? That’s what I did with tonight’s poem. I didn’t know which direction to take this nonet, but He did. Enjoy it, and remember—let go, stop striving, and be one.

The Things We Carry

Babies, burdens, and popsicle sticks
Worries, anxieties, and weight
Constantly drained, finally
We let go and let in
Transformation, and
Peace within we
Are freely
Being
One
